Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour Package Itinerary
Helicopter Flight Description
Early morning a chartered helicopter departs from Kathmandu and soars toward the east of Nepal. We fly over hundreds of hills & rivers and land at Lukla, the gateway to Everest. After refuelling, the flight starts at Everest Base Camp or Kalapatthar. The flight goes over various Sherpa villages Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep and Khumbu Glacier – the world’s highest glacier. At the base camp or Kalapatthar, you will have a short landing for 5 minutes due to altitude threat. You enjoy the Everest thrill and indulge in capturing its regal beauty. We fly back to Syangboche where we stop for 20 minutes for a tea/coffee break or breakfast at Everest View Hotel. Mt Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam line up just in front of you. Savouring cuisine with an exotic mountain view is the best lifetime experience. We fly back to Lukla for refuelling and fly back to Kathmandu. If the weather is not suitable for Everest viewing you will be either offered a refund or the option to fly again.
